The Balkans Book Fair | logo, new identity, Paris
The Balkans Book Fair aims to promote the cultural diversity of the region by transcending stereotypes and fostering a new understanding of the Balkans.
The challenge is to use culture as a catalyst to create harmonious understanding in a region marked by globalization, nationalism, and identity issues.
Much like a kaleidoscope generates an endless variety of images from finite elements, the fair aims to demonstrate how the cultural diversity of the Balkans can be rearranged to create something new while preserving identity and difference.
The graphic objective is to convey these complex ideas through geometric shapes and vibrant colors reflecting the cultural polychromy of the Balkans, highlighting beauty in complexity and unity in diversity.
